The Learning Table

We went over to our friend's house and he had a Learning Table that Gracie and Kai loved. So, now they have one. They play with it all the time. It has English and Spanish settings and songs too!

Playing?

Graysen and Kai are interacting even more these days. The playing has escalated and so has the fighting. Notice how Gracie stuck out her leg from blocking Kai. She was actually then pushing him out of the way. They grab each other, laugh at each other, lean over and talk to each other and screech at each other! My favorite is listening to them talk to each other when they're in their cribs. Sometimes, they stand in their cribs and talk back and forth, looking at one another. Other times, tey just lay down and chit-chat. The fighting has reached new levels. They physically push each other out of the way, turn away if one is trying to get a toy (they try to steal toys from each other all the time) and they block and nudge each other out of the way. If one des something the other doesn't like, he/she will et visibly upset - crying, screeching!! They'll even kick, push each other down, pounce and crawl on top of each other. I wish I cold get it all on film.

The Spitting Baby

"The Spitting Baby," as in Michael spitting the baby. I don't know why he calls it this? But, it's a game he likes to play. He loves to play any silly game with them that requires throwing them up in the air of some sort.

Playing Around

Dog Bowls and More!

Kai and Graysen like to take breaks from all their fun toys to play with the good 'ol fashion dog bowls and wooden spoons. There may be a musical career in Gracie's future with her already drumming skills. And Kai, he just trys to see if anything is edible.

Crawling!!

Just two days after sitting..... I heard a crash. There was water all over the floor - Gracie was swimming in it and trying to lick it up. She had crawled over to the dog bowls and knocked them over! She was perfectly happy as she was drenched in water - she definitely seemed to have had a sense of accomplishment. Kai started right then as well. He actually has better form and seems to be crawling much better - but for some reason, Gracie is actually a bit quicker (when she wants to be) - she is always quicker to get into something. She gets really frustrated when she can't move fast enough to get what she wants so, when she is determined, she'll move!

Sitting

I came home on Wednesday and Kai and Graysen were sitting up. They've sat up for seconds before but never forever!!! They'll stay up for a long time now!
